Hello to those out there reading this. It took me about 4 years, but I finally did it. I dropped all the "what ifs", “cant’s", & "don'ts" & just did it. I've always thought about starting something that I could call mine, yet life always seemed to get in the way. I was always too busy, stressed, unmotivated, or downright lazy. I would always come up with ideas of things I wanted to pursue, but they remained just that, ideas–never becoming a reality. I fell into this trap of dreaming up notions, getting excited for a while & then leaving them to drop off into a void. So why now after 4 years of juggling with this idea? Recently, out of nowhere, it hit me. I will never get to where I want to be by only toying with ideas & not pursuing them with any action. I decided I needed to stop thinking & start doing. I guess you could say I had an epiphany.
During times of feeling helpless, weak, lonely, or frustrated, I used exercising as an outlet. Yes, you’ve probably heard this from pretty much every fitness influencer, but it honestly works. After seeing how much stronger physically & mentally I was I felt this desire to give others the same sense of satisfaction. Thus I created my instagram page, mywellnessthetic, to showcase my knowledge & who I have become with the hope that it helps to inspire others to cultivate wellness on their own terms. It's been extremely refreshing & exciting to put myself out there & meet so many amazing people along my wellness journey.
After seeing the positive change in myself & amount of love & support I was receiving it influenced me to become a personal trainer. I used to be the girl that would search on Pinterest, “Get abs in a week”, “How to lose love handles fast”, or “Workouts to get rid of cellulite ”. Not only was it bad enough that I felt the need to find "quick fixes" to feel confident, but the fact that there were actual posts spreading false information, does not help anyone. Once I started to educate myself, I began to understand how the body works, how to gain muscle, ways to properly fuel my body, & executing proper form with each exercise. The more I learned, the more I fell in love with both movement & my body. Everything eventually became clear & the young girl who relied on Pinterest fitness tips was no more.

I saw this as an opportunity to guide others in the right direction towards their wellness goals. Whether that be someone who is a beginner, needs accountability, or craves a challenge. I will be your go- to hype gal that will keep you in check, understand your needs & push you toward becoming your favorite self while being your friend!
This website is meant to be a resource. Hoping that my random stories, mental health tips, fitness routines, travel experiences, & even a look into my own personal shopping carts can be a source of comfort to others. Especially for those who struggle with anxiety or over analyzing things this can be an amazing way to let go. So here I am, ready to give my all, to create a platform where I’ll be able to help others regain confidence, feel stronger, & inspire them to take a chance on themselves within a supportive community. I'm excited to begin this journey with you!
